I love my Elektra Micro Casa Semiautomatic SXC! I would give it 5 stars where it not for the face that when I first bought it, the base was leaking water slowly and I had to manually re-seal one of the connections. (it was not too hard). Now I use the machine every day and could not be happier with it. I have the power/plug on a timer, so that the machine turns on about 30-40 minutes before I want coffee in the morning. I find that the coffee is best when the machine is fully heated. I also highly recommend getting a good grinder (Mazzer Mini) to get the best of this machine.

It looks fantastic. Stunning. however, coffee is coming out very watery, and the steamer doesn’t create nice foam… it just warm up the milk. So I drink a watery coffee with hot milk, which is the opposite of what a real cappuccino is! That lovely creamy milk top you have in Italian bars? Nowhere. N coffee is very watery… not strong at all. Am I doing something wrong?
