DESCRIPTION
Quamar A01Q is the cooled version of the A01 professional coffee grinder platform, designed for coffee shops and high-demand environments where precise dosing, repeatability, and temperature management are essential. It combines advanced software, continuous micrometric adjustment, automatic portafilter recognition, and an integrated cooling system in a robust professional format.
The front aluminium adjustment knob provides stepless micrometric control over the distance between the burrs, while the touchscreen displays the adjustment in microns. With a declared burr-distance range from 0 to 1000 microns, baristas can make accurate changes to the grind setting and maintain closer control over espresso extraction.
The smart S.R.P. function automatically recognises whether a single or double portafilter has been inserted and instantly dispenses the relevant programmed dose. A Button mode can automatically dispense the last selected dose once the portafilter is positioned, while Manual mode allows dose selection directly from the touchscreen. The removable, height-adjustable portafilter fork supports an efficient hands-free workflow.
A01Q adds an integrated cooling system designed to keep the grinding chamber temperature more stable during intensive, continuous grinding. According to Quamar, the system can achieve a temperature difference of up to 12 °C compared with the standard A01 version after sustained grinding and can reduce post-use thermal recovery time by up to 1 hour and 40 minutes. This makes the A01Q particularly suitable for demanding service conditions where temperature consistency is a priority.
Choose between Ø65 mm, Ø75 mm, and Ø83 mm flat burr configurations according to the required output and service intensity. Each version includes a 1200 g hopper as standard and can be configured with alternative hopper capacities. The A01Q combines advanced dosing logic, fine adjustment, thermal management, and professional build quality for cafés seeking a high-control grinding platform.
