A closer look at the VIBIEMME Domobar Junior HX

Domobar is the line of coffee machines designed by Vibiemme for coffee enthusiasts who want to enjoy a perfect espresso in the comfort of their own home. The line includes three models: Domobar, Junior and Super which essentially differ in the different levels of functionality intended for a user who starts from a beginner level (Domobar Junior) to get to the real professional barista (Domobar Super). Each of the three models is equipped with the classic E61 group which guarantees coffee extraction like the one that can be obtained at the bar with the use of professional equipment.

In this post we look at the mid-range model of the Domobar line which represents an ideal solution for the user who wants to enjoy a state-of-the-art espresso but also wants to try his hand at milk-based drinks. In this case Domobar Junior HX is the right compromise between the coffee dispensing and milk frothing functions.

The technological peculiarity of the Junior HX model is represented by the thermosiphonic circulation group in chromed brass equipped with a mechanical pre-infusion chamber, available in manual (lever) and electronic version. The HX (Heater eXchanger) technology ensures excellent maintenance of the group temperature and, thanks to the E61 group, favors an excellent mechanical pre-infusion phase during the extraction process. Vibiemme Domobar Junior HX is also equipped with:

• Easily exchangeable magnetic removable sides to create new looks for your coffee machine.
• Ergonomic steam nozzle knobs that allow you to manage water and steam at professional levels.
• OLED display (available only in the digital version) that allows you to adjust the temperature of the coffee and check the various alerts of the machine.
• Interface with pressure gauge (available only in the analog version) for lovers of classic style machines.
• Water level sensor inside the container with dedicated LED in case of need to top up.
• Eco mode that can be activated during periods of machine inactivity to obtain energy savings on electricity consumption.
• Drip tray made of synthetic material in order to avoid scratches and to allow washing in the dishwasher
• Float indicator that notifies the high-water level inside the tank.

As already specified in the characteristics, the machine can be customized by applying or removing magnetic removable sides with the following colors: beige, light blue, red, gray, blue gray, burgundy and stainless steel. The removable sides are sold as an option together with the machine.
