To the naked eye, roasted coffee beans can all look the same, but they are not. For each type of coffee the roasting curve develops differently, even if it works at the same temperature. The RoAmi colorimeter is the instrument that can control and guarantee roasting always perfect. RoAmi measures the color of the coffee, both in beans and ground. It is portable and equipped with a user-friendly interface.
A beam of infrared light emitted by RoAmi will hit the ground’s coffee: a lighter roasted coffee will reflect more light than a darker roasted coffee. This amount of reflected light will be converted into a percentage by Roami that will translate in the roasting scale (SCAA/Agtron).
